My Story
Meet Dolores – The Heart of the Show
In 2011, I became an integral part of the event industry, joining the Health & Wellness Expos of Canada Inc. team that would later bring the Winnipeg Women’s Show to life. With a background in bookkeeping, office management, and marketing, I quickly became a key force behind the scenes. Just two years later, I decided to leave my job in the public school sector and become a co-owner and the Vice President of the Health & Wellness Expos of Canada Inc.
Before stepping into the world of events, I had a successful career as an executive administrator in Winnipeg’s school system. I also showcased my entrepreneurial spirit by owning a graphic arts company and running a weekly coffee news publication in Southeastern Manitoba.

My expertise in computer operations, design, and desktop publishing allows me to handle everything from administrative decisions to branding and event planning. Now, as the proud owner of the Winnipeg Women’s Show, I organize and manage this exciting annual event, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully curated for attendees and exhibitors alike.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with people. Whether working with vendors, partners, or attendees, my dedication, creativity, and passion for connecting and empowering women continue to make this event a must-attend experience year after year.
